I could say this about so many fandoms… Dumb fans are one reason I became ashamed to admit that I watched anime on a pretty regular basis. I loved the content, and hated the fanbase of some series quite passionately. This applies to Hellsing more than anything, and a mutual acquaintance of ours, as I’m sure that you know, and I don’t even need to mention the name. Is that shallow of me? Hell yeah it is, but it’s true. That one fan can ruin things for some, and turn people off to an entire genre of media that they might have thoroughly enjoyed.
